Rose’s Story

Rose graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent, UK. Her training provided in-depth knowledge and experience of cranial osteopathy, visceral osteopathy and the classical style. Treatment sessions combine a mixture of techniques, including joint mobilisations, muscle energy technique, cranial sacral, balanced ligamentous tension, soft tissue work.

Rose has completed further training in:

  • women’s health issues, such as painful periods, endometriosis, pelvic pain, C-section scarring, rectus diastasis (stomach muscle separation) and bladder dysfunction

  • retained reflexes and neurodevelopmental delay which are often found to exacerbate symptoms of ADHD and autism

  • paediatric osteopathy and common complaints suffered by newborn babies and children

  • perinatal care including attending a Spinning Babies workshop to facilitate suitable positioning of baby and comfort of the mother

  • caesarean birth implications and C-section scar care

Rose’s Approach

Rose's approach looks from the ground up. What are the foundations of your body through the arch of the foot like? How does that translate up to your pelvis, spine and neck? How does your breathing pattern and nervous system tension affect your presentation?

Often there are many factors at play in a patients presentation. The body holds the experiences of the persons life. A rolled ankle as a child. A rib injury from teen years. Desk posture from adulthood. These can add layers to what the body deals with and how it compensates.

In hand with this, Rose addresses the lifestyle influences of diet, sleep, stressors, exercise and activities for the patient to achieve optimal health.

“Rose is one of those rare humans who genuinely heals. I’ve been seeing her for sports recovery, neck stiffness, and general maintenance, and the difference she makes is real. She listens, she explains, her touch is gentle but incredibly effective, and her energy is warm and calming from the moment you walk in.”
